Historical Summary - dataFundamentals 2000 to 2010

The needs of our clients have changed as java software platform has evolved through this decade.

  • From framework and generated code to embracing standardized toolsets.

  • From software completion to product management

  • From ad hoc development practices to efficient infrastructures

  • From big plan approaches to smaller agile practices

The role of dataFundamentals throughout this 10 year period has always been to ferret out the most critical bottlenecks on any project. As the java and development industry grows up, this has meant different things in different years, but it always means the same results to the corporations that hire us.

  • It is noteable that our initial reputation took root from the early use of frameworks, and capabilities with creating generated code.

  • This morphed to our role as Product Manager for the second half of the decade. Product design and our approach to development processes saw us take three different products from startup to deployment, and critical change agent on a fourth, building teams and infrastructure as we progressed through the process.
